As you may have heard by now, for Fabletown and Beyond’s very first convention, we’ve chosen a very special guest from the Fables family. That special guest resides across the pond and usually doesn’t make it over for too many North American conventions, so that’s why with great pleasure, we announce the presence of Mark Buckingham.

As you all (probably) know, Mark has been working with Bill on Fables pretty well since Day One. When it comes to comics, a writer and an artist have to work together to bring a story to life. The writing and direction of the story is very important, but the ability to bring those words to life with images so that the rest of the story is conveyed concisely and beautifully is a talent that few people have and execute as well as Mark.
